We would love to welcome your child to the River Discovery Center for a magical Fall Break adventure! Our 2026 Fall Break Camp, Magizoologists of the Ohio River Valley, is designed for different age groups and combines hands-on learning, exploration, creativity, and plenty of fun. Campers will spend the day discovering the connections between magical creatures and the real wildlife, habitats, and waterways found right here in our region.

Choose your camper’s grade level, date, and session below, then pay the registration fee to reserve their spot. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Once your spot is reserved, complete the Camper Information & Safety Form to provide the health, emergency contact, pickup, and other important information our team needs to help keep your camper safe and supported throughout the day.

Full-Day Camp: $50 | Half-Day Camp: $30
RDC Members save $5! A member promo code has been emailed to all current RDC members. Enter your code at checkout to receive your discount.
Prefer to pay by cash or check? In-person registration is available at the River Discovery Center for $50 full day or $30 half day, with an additional $5 discount for RDC members, while spots remain.
Online registration prices include credit card processing costs.
Remember your registration is not complete until you submit payment & completed safety registration form.

FAQ
Here are a few quick answers to common questions to help you plan for camp. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, please reach out. We’re happy to help.
Is lunch or snack provided?
No. Campers should bring a lunch, two snacks, and a water bottle for full-day, 4th - 6th grade camps.
Do campers need to attend the entire camp?
Yes. Full attendance is strongly encouraged so each child can fully participate and get the most out of the experience.
Can I pay by check?
Yes. Checks may be dropped off at River Discovery Center or mailed to:

Do RDC members receive a discount?
Yes. RDC members receive a discount on Fall Break Camp registration. A discount code was emailed to all current members. If you are a member but did not receive your code, please call Erin at 270-575-9958 for assistance.
When is the last day to register?
Registrations are accepted until two weeks prior to the scheduled camp start date or until the camp is sold out. Once a camp is full, a waitlist will begin.
What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made before October 1 will receive a full refund, minus a $25 processing fee.

Cancellations made October 1 through two days before the camper’s scheduled camp date will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made the day before or the day of the camper’s scheduled camp date are non-refundable.
What if the camp I want is sold out?
You may add your child to the waitlist by emailing Erin Langan. If a spot becomes available, families will be notified in the order they are added to the waitlist.
